HOUSING (LOAN CHARGES CONTRIBUTIONS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1962.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 6 and 14 of the Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1932 (No. 19 of 1932) and by section 14 of the Housing (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 27 of 1958) hereby makes the following Regulations :— 1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) (Amendment) Regulations, 1962.

(2) The Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) Regulations, 1932 to 1953, the Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) Regulations, 1959 and these Regulations shall be read and construed as one and may be cited together as the Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) Regulations, 1932 to 1962. 2. In these Regulations, the expression "scheme to which these Regulations apply" means a scheme for the provision of houses, cottages or other housing accommodation the expenses of which are defrayed out of moneys raised by borrowing with the sanction of the Minister for Local Government given on or after the 1st day of April, 1961, or the construction of which commenced on or after the 1st day of April, 1961. 3. Article 5 of the Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) Regulations, 1932 (S.R. and O. 1932 No. 96) shall in its application to a scheme to which these Regulations apply have effect with the following amendments :—

(a) in sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (b), "£2,200" shall be substituted for "£2,000",

(b) in sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (b), "£1,650" shall be substituted for "£1,500" and

(c) in paragraph (c) "£1,650" shall be substituted for "£1,500". 4. Article 5 of the Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) Regulations, 1959 ( S.I. No. 87 of 1959 ) shall in its application to a scheme to which these Regulations apply have effect with the following amendments :—

(a) in sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (b) "£1,650" shall be substituted for "£1,500" and

(b) in sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (b) "£1,100" shall be substituted for "£1,000".
