I, John O'Donoghue, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 11 (2) of the Immigration Act, 1999 (No. 22 of 1999), hereby order as follows: | ||||||||||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration Act, 1999 (Section 11) (Commencement) Order, 2000. | ||||||||||
|
2. The 20th day of January, 2000, is hereby fixed as the day on which section 11 (other than paragraph (p) of subsection (1)) of the Immigration Act, 1999 (No. 22 of 1999) shall come into operation. | ||||||||||
