Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 8th October, 2010.

The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010 hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010 (Commencement) (No. 3) Order 2010.

2. The 5th of October 2010 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010 (No. 30 of 2010) come into operation:

(i) sections 7, 8, 9, paragraphs (a) to (e) of section 10, section 11, paragraphs (a) to (c) of section 12, section 13, paragraphs (a) and (b) of section 14 and sections 15, 16;

(ii) sections 20, 21 and 22;

(iii) sections 24 and 25;

(iv) section 27;

(v) sections 30 and 31;

(vi) section 34;

(vii) section 39;

(viii) section 40 and paragraph (c) of section 41;

(ix) sections 44 and 45;
