PUBLIC ENTERPRISE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1998.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Public Enterprise and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Public Enterprise (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1998. 2. The powers and duties—

(a) of the Minister for Public Enterprise, conferred on that Minister of the Government—

(i) by or under the provisions of the enactments specified in Part I of the First Schedule,

(ii) by or under the enactments specified in Part II of the First Schedule,

(iii) under the statutory instruments specified in the Second Schedule,

to this Order, and

(b) in relation to meteorological services conferred on the Minister for Public Enterprise by the Ministers and Secretaries Act, 1924 (No. 16 of 1924),

are hereby delegated to Joe Jacob, Minister of State at the Department of Public Enterprise.
