Petition for extension of patent - Term of patent extended by statute passed after presentation of petition - Patents and Designs Act, 1907 (7 Edw. VII., c. 29), ss. 17, 18 - Patents and Designs Act, 1919 (9 10 Geo. V., c. 80), s. 6.

Where the term of a patent has been extended by an Act of Parliament passed subsequent to the presentation by the patentee of a petition under s. 18 of the Patents and Designs Act, 1907, the petition must be adjourned generally. In re Macintosh's Patent (Webster's Patent Cases, 739) followed.
