SOCIAL WELFARE (SUPPLEMENTARY WELFARE ALLOWANCES) (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1985.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 209 of the Social Welfare (Consolidation) Act, 1981 (No. 1 of 1981), hereby makes the following Regulations: 1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social welfare (Supplementary Welfare Allowances) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1985.

(2) The collective citation "the Social Welfare (Supplementary Welfare Allowances) Regulations, 1977 to 1985" shall include these Regulations. 2. Article 6 of the Social Welfare (Supplementary Welfare Allowances) Regulations, 1977 ( S.I. No. 168 of 1977 ), as amended by the Social Welfare (Supplementary Welfare Allowances) (Amendment) Regulations, 1985 ( S.I. No. 49 of 1985 ), is hereby further amended by—

(i) the substitution with effect from the 7th day of October, 1985 in sub-article (9) of "£5" for "£4";

(ii) the addition thereto of the following sub-article—

"(11) A fuel allowance may be paid to a person who on the 17th day of February, 1985, was in receipt of an increase of...
