Local Registration of Title Act, 1891, ss. 19 and 20 - Personal undertaking of solicitor acting as such.

A solicitor acting for the vendor gave an undertaking, signed by him, to a purchaser of land, already registered in accordance with the Local Registration Act, 1891, that, in consideration of the purchaser paying the balance of the purchase money to him, he would have all the incumbrances affecting the property at the date of the sale or found to affect the said property up to the registration of the deed of transfer effectually released and the property discharged therefrom by all proper and necessary parties; and, further, to hand over to the purchaser's solicitor the original documents creating the charges and also the deeds of release duly registered.
