Obstacle placed on kerb of footpath - Pedestrian injured - Liability of person responsible for placing obstacle.

The placing of a "No Parking" notice sign on the footpath of a public highway without authority, is a nuisance constituting a possible danger to pedestrians. A person responsible for placing such a notice in a public highway was held liable in damages for injuries caused to a pedestrian who, having taken the care which the circumstances demanded, collided with the notice.
