WEIGHTS & MEASURES (VERIFICATION AND STAMPING FEES) ORDER, 1992.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 of the Weights and Measures Act, 1904, hereby order as follows: 1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Weights and Measures (Verification and Stamping Fees) Order, 1992.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 28th day of January, 1992. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. 3. The fees specified in the Schedule to this Order shall be paid in respect of the verification and stamping of the weights, measures and weighing and measuring instruments specified in that Schedule. 4. The Weights and Measures (Verification and Stamping Fees) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1987 ), is hereby revoked.
