JURY DISTRICTS ORDER, 2004

I, Michael McDowell, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 of the Juries Act 1976 (No. 4 of 1976) (as adapted by the Justice (Alteration of name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 1997 ( S.I. No. 298 of 1997 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Jury Districts Order 2004.

2. This Order shall come into operation on 22nd December, 2004.

3. The jury district for the county of Cork (including the city of Cork) is limited to the parts of that county specified in Schedule 1 hereto.

4. The county of Cavan is divided into the 2 jury districts specified in part 1 of Schedule 2 hereto.

5. The county of Donegal is divided into the 2 jury districts specified in part 2 of Schedule 2 hereto.

6. The county of Galway is divided into the 2 jury districts specified in part 3 of Schedule 2 hereto.

7. The county of Kerry is divided into the 2 jury districts specified in part 4 of Schedule 2 hereto.

8. The county of Kildare is divided into the 2 jury districts specified in part 5 of Schedule 2 hereto.

9. The county of Monaghan is divided into the 2 jury districts specified in part 6 of Schedule 2 hereto.

10. The Jury Districts Order 1976 (No. 57 of 1976) and the Jury Districts Order 1983 (No. 262 of 1983) are revoked.
