Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 13th August, 2010.

I, NOEL DEMPSEY, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Road Traffic Act 2010 (No. 25 of 2010), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 2010 (Certain Provisions) (Commencement) Order 2010.

2. The day fixed as the day on which Part 1 ( sections 1 and 2 ) and sections 26 (5), 68 and 78 of the Road Traffic Act 2010 (No. 25 of 2010) come into operation is 9th August 2010.
