I, LEO VARADKAR, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Road Traffic Act 2010 (No. 25 of 2010) (as adapted by the Transport (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 141 of 2011 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 2010 (Certain Provisions) (Commencement) Order 2011.

2. The day fixed as the day on which sections 55 to 59 , 62 , 67 , 71 to 74 , 76 , 77 , 79 to 81 , 83 and 84 , paragraphs (a) to (c) of section 85 and sections 88 to 92 of the Road Traffic Act 2010 (No. 25 of 2010) come into operation is 1 June, 2011.

This Order brings into operation with effect from 1 June 2011 sections 55 to 59 , 62 , 67 , 71 to 74 , 76 , 77 , 79 to 81 , 83 and 84 , paragraphs (a) to (c) of section 85 and sections 88 to 92 of the Road Traffic Act 2010 (No. 25 of 2010).
