ROAD TRANSPORT ACTS (FEES) REGULATIONS, 1986.

I, JIM MITCHELL, Minister for Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Road Transport Act, 1933 (No. 8 of 1933), section 6 of the Road Transport Act, 1971 (No. 8 of 1971), section 10 of the Road Transport Act, 1986 (No. 16 of 1986), and the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1983 (No. 40 of 1983), with the sanction of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations: 1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road Transport Acts (Fees) Regulations, 1986.

(2) The Road Transport Acts Regulations, 1933 to 1982 and these Regulations may be cited as the Road Transport Acts Regulations, 1933 to 1986. 2. The Road Transport Act, 1933 Regulations 1955 ( S.I. No. 69 of 1955 ), are hereby amended by the substitution for the First Schedule (inserted by the Road Transport Acts (Fees) Regulations, 1982 ( S.I. No. 277 of 1982 )) thereto of the following Schedule:—

"FIRST SCHEDULE

FEES

(1) Merchandise Licences being Road Freight Carrier's Licences ( a ) On an application for a licence, a fee of together with in respect of each vehicle to be specified in the licence, a fee of £40 £30 ( b ) On an application, during the period of validity of a licence, in respect of an additional vehicle to be specified in the licence, a fee, in respect of each period of 3 months or less of the unexpired period of the licence, ofprovided always that the minimum fee payable under this paragraph shall be a fee of £3 £5 ( c ) On an application, during the period of validity of a licence, for the substitution for a vehicle specified in the licence of another vehicle, a fee of £5 (2) Merchandise Licences not being Road Freight Carrier's Licences ( a ) On application for a licence, a fee of £40 ( b ) On application for the renewal of a licence, a fee of £20 ( c ) On application for the transfer of a licence, a fee of £40 (3) Vehicle Plates ( a ) On application for a vehicle plate, a fee of £20 ( b ) On application for the issue of a vehicle plate by way of replacement, a fee of £20 ( c ) On application for a vehicle plate if the conditions set out in Regulation 4 (2) are complied with, a fee of £2".
